Why you need DHA during pregnancy
and breast-feeding

Since many women do not get the DHA they need from diet alone,7 a prescription prenatal vitamin with DHA can be just what a mother and her baby need for a healthy start. Research shows that DHA benefits baby’s development, as well as mother’s health and well-being.

Administration of omega-3 fatty acids should be avoided in patients taking anticoagulants and in those known to have an inherited or acquired predisposition to bleeding.
